Centre for Financial Accountability to host a public event titled “India’s G20 Moment: Notes from the Margins” in New Delhi. 

India’s G20 presidency is around the corner and is garnering all the media blitz and attention. To add more voice to the matter, the Centre for Financial Accountability has been working on a comic book titled “Gang of 20” for the past year. The work is now complete and will be released at a public event to be held on 8th October 2022, 4 PM onwards at Lecture Hall II (Annexe Building) of India International Centre. The comic book is an artwork of Orijit Sen and Samarth and is edited by Sonal Raghuvanshi. The public event promises to be more than a launch event. It will start with a keynote address by an eminent public commentator on Global Financial Architecture, followed by the book launch, conversation with the comic book creators and panel discussion with young comics like Ita Mehrotra, Vidyun Sabhney, Ikroop Sandhu and Samarth on “Comics and Resistance”. The panel will be chaired by the art historian, Srinivas Aditya Mopidevi. The event will end with high tea for all attendees. The event will also feature a number of progressive publishers who will have their work on display and attendees are surely promised a thrilling Saturday evening.
