India on Sale – Foreigners Taking Over – Not Only IDBI – Stop Now
The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the sale of IDBI Bank to a subsidiary of Fairfax, Canada, in a dubious manner. Now, the RBI has to process the deal. The deal can still be stopped if people’s pressure is mounted, as has happened with many such proposals earlier.
